The Poughkeepsie Yacht Club is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, on a quiet and beautiful part of the Hudson River about halfway between New York City and Albany near Hyde Park, NY. We mainly offer boating and non-boating memberships, and guest services for visiting boaters. If you wish take a mooring or slip for the night, feel free to call us while you are on your way (or just show up).

Guest Facilities
The club has both docks and moorings available to transients. If you come from a reciprocal club, it is free. Among our other facilities are showers, dockside electricity & water, a well-stocked bar, and satellite TV. We also have WiFi Internet available upon request. We can help you get the items you need, be sure to ask. We also invite guests to our events, if you have an interest in coming for an event contact us. The Poughkeepsie Yacht Club also owns a 25-ton travel lift should you require an emergency haul-out for repair. We are also on the Waterway Guide Website (click here).

Directions
Coming from the North, after you pass through the town of Rhinebeck, NY, you will drive on Route 9 for about 10-15 minutes, on the right you will see a sign for River Ridge, turn in there and then make the first right. Coming from the South, you will drive through the town of Hyde Park, past Vanderbuilt Estate.. You will go up a small hill and on the left you will see River Ridge, Turn into the small turning lane and then turn left into River Ridge, take the first right (a gravel road).
On The River
We are located at the most southern tip of the Esopus Island, it is the only major island in between the Poughkeepsie or Kingston bridges. We are just south of Norrie Point.
