~ Poughkeepsie Yacht Club's 25 Week Party ~

The 25 week club party has been set for September 18th this year.  Please plan to attend this
club fund raising event.  Our goal this year is for every member to purchase two tickets, each ticket is admission for two people, Bring a friends or neighbor to the party, these guests may become future PYC members.  If you have questions, require additional tickets, or wish to volunteer to assist with this fund raising event please contact Chairmen Ross Eames.

Get your flip-flops, tune your six string, and prepare to relax at a Caribbean paradise. Casa IxChel is a small boutique hotel with seven standard rooms and three suites located on the Isla Mujeres. The seven-mile long island is only a 17 minute ferry ride from Cancun, Mexico. The top floor has the best restaurant on the island. This week long vacation will be auctioned off at our 25 week club picnic. You and your special someone could win a standard room for one week on
the date of your choice. You could be upgraded to a suite if one is available.

A $35 donation to benefit the restoration and preservation of the last wooden lighthouse (Esopus) 
on the Hudson River by sailing in the Regatta!

This years Regatta will be more on the lines of a long distance cruising ralley. 
Start line will be the south side Pougkeepsie Railroad bridge , finish line will be. 
between PYC and the south tip of Esopus Island. . 


Following the Regatta an awards ceremony with food ,refreshments and cash bar will. 
take place at Poughkeepsie Yacht club. Docking/mooring will be available at PYC,  and. 
Plenty of anchorage space available in the area between PYC and Norrie Point.   You are
welcome to call ahead  (845) 889-4742 and make arrangements for overnight Dockage. 
or moorings at  PYC .. 

A reminder to all members that the fuel contract with Bottini ends this month.
Members can opt. to renew for $0.40 cents over wholesale with a cap of $2.99 per
gallon. Contact Bottini and ask for PYC contract pricing.
